Harvest Fun

My favorite picture of the day!

Grandpa Talbot

Grandpa Talbot is helping the boys to shoot! Henry Jr. blew us away when he nailed the first clay pigeon!

This is me and Ben's target....for a first timer, that's pretty darn good!

Harvest Dinner/ Shooting Clay Pigeons

For a family harvest get together, we had a big dinner and shot clay pigeons. It was a blast! Here is Ben and his brothers shooting.

Another quick trip to Utah

Friday night after work I headed to Tooele, UT to visit Ben. It's always a bummer to get there at night and have him be at work, but it is SOOOOO GREAT when he comes home in the morning!

I was a little bummed that most of our day would be spent with him sleeping so he could gear up for another long night at work, but I was happy to get some time with him. We ate breakfast, ran to the library to check our e-mail, and then went back to the trailer to sleep. When we got up, we found out that the head broke on their drill rig. This put a bit of a twist on things....Ben didn't have to "work" but he had to go to work to watch the rig all night. The boss said it was alright if I tagged along so we threw the mattress from the trailer on a tarp in the bed of Ben's truck and loaded up on blankets and food. Since there wasn't anything they could do at work we cleaned up the area, watched a movie under the stars on the laptop, ate Chinese takeout, and slept for a few hours. Other than a few allergies, it turned into a great little campout....not to mention the fact that Ben got paid overtime for the whole night!

I'm sad to be home without him, but only a week and a half and my honey will be home again! Hopefully for 2 weeks! WAHOO!

P.S. Sorry we didn't take any pictures. We were dirty after cleaning and my allergies made me not so much in a picture taking mood!
